Talk Social is a Toronto-based digital marketing agency specializing in social media management, content creation, UGC, and business development.

Our approach to content is centered around storytelling. We believe that to connect with your audience, you need clarity, control, and perspective over your story.

Our founder Vanessa, brings a unique wealth of knowledge and experience with storytelling through content for brands and professionals/entrepreneurs. This experience has positioned her to be able to excel at content creation that connects and converts.

Her background in digital marketing agencies on both the creative and account management side gives her a unique and holistic perspective on what a creative marketing agency needs to provide excellent client experiences and deliverables.

Why ‘TALK SOCIAL’ ?

Vanessa was sending an email chain with a client one day going back and forth when setting an appointment to get on a call and discuss strategy. She signed off that email with ‘I can’t wait to talk social!’

Do you know how sometimes things click in life? This was one of those times and the name Talk Social just made sense.

While Vanessa has a wealth of knowledge and experience in full-stack digital marketing and has worn many hats over the years… her love and true strength has always been social content.

There is an art to creating truly magnificent stories through social content and Talk Social is all about mastering that for your brand and you!

Meet The Founder

Hi Friends! My name is Vanessa. My experience in marketing began when I started to grow a personal brand and business for myself as a yoga teacher. My entire world changed overnight when I realised the power content had to connect with people through a story.

I began my career working for myself and consulting with companies in various industries. This taught me to have faith in my abilities and skills very early on and truly changed the trajectory of my life.

From that, I took a detour into various creative marketing roles for companies and digital marketing agencies. This was an invaluable experience on what it takes to run a digital marketing agency/team. Wearing many different hats taught me the ins and outs of digital marketing and client relationships.

My goal is simple: Help brands and individuals share their stories through fabulous content and run a company that inspires people to chase their dreams. I truly believe the world is a better place when we love the work we do on a daily basis.

I am obsessed with Tabasco. I put it on absolutely everything. In my dream life, I carry around a miniature bottle in my handbag.

I have a second product-based business called Aligned Action Diaries that sells productivity products and tools for people who want to build their dream life/career.

I recently developed a fear of flying but also travel quite often cause I have family all over the world. I’m well-versed in facing my fears. Let me know if you need some tips for flying while anxious. I also hope to get my recreational pilot’s license in the next 5 years!

My dog is named Sinnmaon, yes with an ‘S’. She is a 1-year-old cockapoo that is currently the center of my existence and love of my life.
